Linear fluency
Equations, inequalities, and systems you can start in one line.
Digital SAT Math is an adaptive, two-module section. Questions draw on algebra, advanced math, problem-solving and data analysis, and geometry/trigonometry. A built-in calculator is available; the skill is still choosing a clean setup.
College Board groups the questions into algebra (linear equations, systems), advanced math (nonlinear equations, functions), problem-solving and data analysis (ratios, percentages, probability, statistics in context), and geometry and trigonometry.
The second module’s difficulty depends on the first. That makes early accuracy valuable, but it does not require a different mathematics. Word problems and function notation cause more misses than exotic content. Card the setup you hesitate on, then practice it in the digital tools you will actually use. IB Math AA is a different course and should stay a different deck.
Equations, inequalities, and systems you can start in one line.
Notation, transformations, and interpreting a graph or a table.
Percent change, unit rates, and reading a scatterplot or two-way table.
Triangles, circles, and the trigonometry the SAT still includes.
For a student who has finished Algebra II. If geometry is rusty, steal days from advanced math, not from mixed modules.
Weeks 1–3
Card the first line of problems you currently reread. Do short official-style sets after the cards, not before sleep only.
Weeks 4–6
Take full digital-style modules. Card only the setup you did not see. Track careless arithmetic separately from content holes.
Weeks 7–8
Protect easy-question accuracy. New cards should be rare. Sleep and timing matter more than a new identity.
SAT Math cards should produce a setup: isolate the variable, write the percent-change expression, or name the function value from a graph. Vocabulary-only cards (“define median”) are weaker than a tiny in-context problem.
Spaced repetition keeps setups warm between official practice modules. It will not adapt the exam for you. Practice in the digital format so the tools and timing are familiar.
Cover the choices and write the equation you need.
Ask for f(2) or the intercept from a sketched graph.
Card a percent-change story with the expression, not the slogan “is-over-of.”
200 setup cards at 20 minutes a day for eight weeks. Official modules are extra.
Estimate: 30 seconds per new card, 10 seconds per review. Fixed review gaps, not FSRS or a recall prediction.
Your calculator inputs stay in this browser tab. No uploads, email or signup needed.
The SAT is delivered digitally in the current College Board format, with two adaptive math modules.
A calculator is available in the digital test. You still need setups that are faster than button-mashing.
SAT Math is a shorter, multiple-choice/student-produced-response admissions test. AA is a two-year diploma course with papers and an IA.
Yes. Keep the first-line setup. Delete cards that only restate a textbook definition.
