Agreement to terms

By accessing or using GoodOff, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

These Terms apply to all users of the service, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Eligibility & age requirements

To use GoodOff, you must meet the following requirements:

Minimum age: you must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use GoodOff
Forums access: the community forums are restricted to users who are 18 years or older
Parental consent: users between 13–16 years old in certain jurisdictions may require parental consent
Accurate information: you must provide accurate date of birth during registration
Legal capacity: you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

Users under 18 will have access to all learning features (libraries, flashcards, quizzes, AI tutor, challenges, analytics) but will not be able to access the community forums.

Use license

Permission is granted to access and use GoodOff for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Modify, copy, or create derivative works from the software
Use the service for any commercial purpose without authorization
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
Remove any copyright or proprietary notations
Transfer your account to another person
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the service
Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
Share your account credentials with others

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions.

User accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Promptly updating your account information if it changes
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
Using a strong, unique password for your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in suspicious activity.

GoodOff offers three paid subscription tiers with different recurring monthly AI credit allocations:

Trial terms

A card-required 7-day trial with 15 one-time starter credits may be available when both the new account and selected offer are eligible. The starter credits do not renew. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected plan begins its recurring credits and automatically renews at the selected monthly or annual price. Availability for the account and selected offer is confirmed during activation and is not guaranteed.

Understanding AI credits

AI deck generation: 15 credits per deck
AI quiz generation: 10 credits per quiz
File upload: 2 credits per MB (minimum 2)
Podcast generation: 20 credits per minute
Voice tutor: 15 credits per minute
Chat messages: 2 credits per message
Manual flashcards: creation and review do not use AI credits
One-time credit packs: buy 100 ($1), 500 ($5), or 1,000 ($10) credits that never expire

Billing & payment terms

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
Credit reset: subscription credits reset to your plan allocation on each renewal. Unused credits do NOT roll over
Credit packs (one-time purchases) never expire and persist across billing periods
All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or the App Store/Google Play
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
We reserve the right to modify subscription fees with 30 days advance notice
Failed payment after 3 retry attempts may result in loss of paid-plan access
Libraries, decks, and content created while subscribed remain accessible after cancellation
Annual subscriptions receive a 17% discount compared to monthly billing

AI-generated content

GoodOff uses AI to generate flashcards, quizzes, and other content. By using these features:

You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it
AI-generated content is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional advice
You retain ownership of content you create, including AI-assisted content based on your materials
You grant us a license to process your uploaded content through AI services to generate flashcards
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
AI features are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued

Content & intellectual property

Your content: you retain ownership of all content you create or upload
License grant: you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and process your content within the service
Responsibility: you are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on others' intellectual property rights
Removal: we may remove content that violates these terms, infringes copyrights, or violates applicable laws
AI content: AI-generated content based on your materials is owned by you
Our content: GoodOff's software, design, trademarks, and original content are our property
Feedback: any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation

Community forums (18+ only)

You must be 18 years or older to access and participate in forums
Forum posts and comments are visible to other forum users
You are responsible for the content you post
Moderators may remove content that violates community guidelines
Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent bans
Do not share personal information or contact details publicly
Respect other users and maintain a constructive learning environment

Prohibited uses

You may not use GoodOff:

For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
To violate any international, federal, provincial, state, or local regulations
To infringe upon or violate intellectual property rights of others
To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, or discriminate against others
To submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
To upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
To interfere with security features or attempt unauthorized access
To circumvent usage limits, subscription restrictions, or age verification
To create multiple accounts to abuse trial or usage limits
To scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization
To upload copyrighted content you do not have rights to use
To share adult, violent, or inappropriate content
To spam, advertise, or promote products/services without authorization

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

GoodOff is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or links
We are not liable for data loss — maintain your own backups of important content

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so these limitations may not fully apply to you.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account:

Immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms
If we reasonably believe you are engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity
If you fail to pay subscription fees after multiple attempts
If your account has been inactive for an extended period
For any other reason at our sole discretion with reasonable notice

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination. All provisions that should survive termination shall survive.

Changes to terms

We will notify you of material changes via email and/or in-app notification
Changes to subscription pricing will have at least 30 days notice
The "Effective date" at the top will be updated
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms
If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription

Governing law & disputes

Should first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation
May be subject to binding arbitration if negotiation fails
Class action waivers may apply to the extent permitted by law
Small claims court remains available for qualifying disputes
